Kinome Pass (Hokuriku Expressway)
Kinome Pass is where Fukui Prefecture is divided into the northern Reihoku region and southern Reinan region. In 830, Hokurikudo, a new road that cut through Kinome Pass was built. On the way up to the pass, worn-down stone steps remain, giving a glimpse into how it looked like in the past.
