Yamanaka Tunnel
This tunnel is located between the section of railway between Tsuruga and Imajo, and was constructed in 1896. This is the longest tunnel located along the former Hokuriku Railway (running between Tsuruga and Imajo), and took 3 years to be constructed due to the difficulty in construction works from the hardness of the bedrock and water leakage.
