Echizen Coast
Designated as a part of Echizen-Kaga Kaigan Quasi-National Park, the stretch along Kono Beach features multiple rias - narrow coastal islets that form complex ridges along the coastline. There are multiple unusually shaped rock formations formed by the rough tides of the Sea of Japan along the coast, including one that looks like the Japanese archipelago, and the "Husband-and-Wife Rocks".
